Thousands of people for an
unforgettable concert, that even with the rain, were able to support their
idols, Nomadi and Omar Pedrini.
Omar Pedrini began his musical
career in 1986 with Timoria, in 1996 he started a solo career. Last night, we
did hear three songs.
The first "Senza
vento", an old song of Timoria, then reworked in 2011 with a more Rock.
Here has been shown to have a voice very rock andscratchy,
although there were errors on the treble.
The second song, "Casa
mia", as he himself said, came last in the Sanremo Festival 4 years ago, I
found a little harmonica in some places and quite annoying.
The last, "Sole spento"
with Gilda, backing vocals, is a song that was inspired by a letter that came
from a guy from prison, I found it very touching and exciting.
An artist who knows his fact,
an artist who deserves to be able to sing in front of so many people, but
especially in his writings tries to give the message to the public.
The nomadi, a band founded
in 1963, is the oldest in Europe, that even after all these years, still knows
excite and engage your audience, which is of all ages. They have a fighting
spirit on stage seems to be little boys. Not a mistake, the singer with a voice
clean and warm, but not least were the bassist and guitarist who sang a couple
of songs, as if they were the singers. The violinist, very prepared, was able
to demonstrate its prowess in the solo, which lasted a couple of minutes, which
was able to give a break to the rest of the band.

humanitarian initiatives related to the concert:the money from
the tickets were donated to research of Candiolo and also were sold T-shirts
for the earthquake in Emilia. Touching was their cry of Freedom for Tibet
accompanied by the song "Auschwitz."

This time I have interviewed
for you a singer songwriter of Rivoli, a town next to Turin. What, in
September, it will participate in the selections for Sanremo Young.
What’s your name? Years? Where are you from? And what do you study?
I’m Riccardo D’Avino. I am 25 years old and I come
from to Rivoli (Turin). I have graduated last year in graphics and advertising
communication and now I make the graph but I dream to become musician of profession.
How come the choose to use your true name and not a stage name?
Beh, because I don't need a
name of art. I am already an artist the whole day and I don't have need to transform me
when they are in study or on the stage. If I must turn me into serious person
in the situations that ask for him. I also use my true name because I think
that I play very well.
Do you like to do in the life over that to play?
I love to devote me to the
traditional graphics and web, to read and to travel.

Where born your passion for the music?
Is a beautiful question. To
help the development of this passion has also been certainly the vast
collection of disks of my parents, that since when I was child they have made
me listen to music of every kind.
Tell us your artistic experience from the beginnings to now!
I have started to play the
guitar and to take lessons to the 13 year-old tender age, starting from the
acoustics, therefore passing to the electric one.I have had some
experiences as guitarist in some groups with which I have not done so much, if
more than few concerts, until 18 years I have not begun to also take lessons of
song. Of there to few I have formed a new group, the "Ashes of the
Nothing", that will subsequently change name in "Krill HasGone."
It is the first group with which I have had an activity more important live and
with which have recorded two Eps and a song for a compilation, "Hit the
center." Nevertheless, also this band is loosened in the 2008. From that
moment in then I have decided to undertake a soloist career, that is continuing
more and more still with satisfactory results.
Tell us one defect of yours and one merit of yours!
My biggest merit for some
and defect for others is my extremely demanding and stubborn being on what I
want.
Which are your singers or preferred groups?
Among mine preferred there
are artists of various kind in shed order as The Police, U2, R.E.M., Toto,
Ligabue, Litfiba, Negrita, Yes, Genesis, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Level 42,
Fugazi, Jawbox, At the drive-in, Lucio Battisti, Lucio Dalla, MaxGazzè,
Niccolo’Fabi, Mario Venuti, the Indian percussionista TrilokGurtu, Helium and
the tense histories, DeepPurple, Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, AC DC.
What inspires you for your pieces?
To the same of the preceding
question, but also to all that that gives me for the head and it convinces me.
There is one to which you are particularly fond of?
Probably the Totos, that I
consider one of the best groups to the world for their technique, their
creativeness and their versatility.
What are your plans for the future?
In September they will begin the recordings of my
first real album, that it will call "The world around" and it will contain 12
passages, I understood the 4 presents in the my actual Ep "to Run away and to return", with riarrangiatis
will come and ri-recorded together to others 8 new songs. Besides the concerts
and my producer will take back it is firmly intentioned to bring me to the
selections of Sanremo Young. In the same period it will also go out "we
are here", passage devoted Mark Simoncelli, whose proceeds will go all in
beneficence to the Mark Simoncelli Onlus to the disappearance of the biker,
association no profit managed by the parents of Mark that it finances
humanitarian projects.
What
emotion have you tried when have engraved your first individual?
First of all a big sense of
surprise to have been less scarce than I thought… Ahahah! Jokes apart, the
emotions that I try every time that register and listening a new passage are
indescribable. They are so many images and so many colors that fly in my mind
and in my heart to flow of the music and of the words.
Where have you recorded him/it?
"Two or three things
that I know about you" I have recorded her among the Home Study of the
musician and arranger Francesco Saglietti and the Rock Lab I Study, both in
Turin. In the first one I have recorded the tools, in the second the voices.
As you/he/she has been to produce alone the first EP?
And' is very satisfactory. I
have been able to personally follow and with attention all the phases of
recording and mix and the final result you/he/she has been amazing, also thanks
to the final touch of the huge Alexander Vanara, that is a technician of
mastering that also works firmly to the disks of Á. the Bano and that
accordingly you/he/she has developed a job of high-level. The sound of the Ep
is fresh and powerful, but also more delicate in the most reflexive moments, as
for instance the song of which we have spoken before.
Has thing inspired him/it to you?
You/he/she has inspired him
to me the urgency to make to hear my voice, to expose my observations to the
world, my insecurities, but also my joy and my desire to express me.
To which song you are tied up?
To "This reality",
a passage devoted to the feeling of a world that, as it says note the song
"it doesn't have space for me", or when it seems that you are not
never correct for the world, that always turns from the opposite part in
comparison to where you are racing you.
Under that labels you are? As you have been open?
My label calls Khan Khan
music publishing, it is of Bologna and I have found her online, through an
announcement in which it said that you/he/she was looking for new artists to
produce. I have sent their my material, that his/her owner is liked a lot Guido
De Gaetano, which has put me under contract.
A quando il tuo
album?
As I said before, I will
begin to record him/it in September, but its exit is anticipated for the next
spring, since will want us different months for the workmanship of the whole
product. You/he/she will be anticipated however by an individual, that could
already go out toward February 2013.
In that city you have played? Is there one of it to which you are
particularly tied up and why?
I have played in a lot of
Italian cities, but I am a lot of legacy in Rome, to his/her places and his/her
very warm and impassioned public. I am also obviously tied up to my Turin, even
if I have to say that our public is more middly disinterested to the music and
less warm.
In that city you would like to play and why?
It is not particularly one
of them, I would like to play in more possible places to spread the more
possible my message. I have to say however that I would be very curious to play
in Japan, considering that I know that the Japanese literally go crazy for the
European artists and they reserve them noisy but cheerful receptions.
With that artists you have played?
I have played with different
artists of the Torinese and Piemontese area, further to have divided the stage
with artists from Italy during various contests and demonstrations. Once I have
had the pleasure to sing in a contest where Heather Mou also competed, that
consider an excellent and very nice artist. To the epoch it was only 18 years
old, but it was already a lot of talented. To the same festival it was present
another artist always launched by Sanremo Young this year or the good Julia
Anania.
With that artists you would like to play and why?
Dream to divide the stage
with the Totos or the U2s, but also to open a concert of Ligabue, Mario Venuti
or other Italian artists would be magnificent.Why? Because they are the artists
that love!
Which competed you have done and which have you/they helped you in this
run mostly?
I have made different
contests. Among the most known I quote the Festival of Castrocaro, the Without
Label and the August Prize Daolio, devoted to the lamented ex-singer of the
Nomad. It is not particularly one of them that has helped more me. All the contests
that I have developed have helped me to improve me, to make new knowledge’s and
to gather so many positive and negative sides of the musical world.
What relationship do you have with your fans?
They are very important for
me. With them I always interact through the various social network and I try to
maintain a precious relationship, because they is precious, vital.
What suggestion from the to the singers that lean out for the first time
to the world of the music?
A sentence that I like a lot
to lately pronounce is "to be innovative, is not had to try to invent a
new musical kind. It needs only to try to write great songs". I think, all
of us artists of new generation we have to try to make beautiful songs, because
it is this what the actual musical scene misses it. There are today too many
passages "it uses and it throws", without contents and facts on
purpose to sell, but that nobody will remember him more among few months. There
is need of songs that enters again the heart of the people, that in forty years
someone will still hum in front of a bonfire with the guitar or that it will
still play in the places. It doesn't care what the kind is, the main point is
to try to write deep songs and also original, that doesn't look for to recall
particularly himself/herself/themselves any. Here, another suggestion that I
give to whom is about to write his/her first song it is that to listen more
possible music, not to become fossilized himself/herself/themselves on one or
two son-in-laws, to eliminate the prejudices and to take the best from
everything that that he/she is listened. With "the best" I intend to
say what inspires you and that you think that you/he/she could be proposed in
personal and only way inside a song. Not form a group thinking "we will
play hard rock" or "we will play funky". Form thinking of you
him "we will make great songs, who rubs some kind in which someone will
want to classify us". If instead you are interpreters, or don't write
songs, you look for a vocal stamp everything your however, something that
represents to the best what you have inside and that at the same time you don't
resemble too much to that of any other singer. Obviously, this whole discourse
is worth also for myself every day that I sing or I write.
Your family thing thinks of it of this your dream?
They are very fierce of me
and they sustain me every time that you/they are able. However they don't also
miss never to hold me with the feet for earth. That of the music is not an easy
world and you/he/she can also be fallen down by a moment to the other when
there is inside.
Future dates in which to be able to feel you?
I will restart in September
and the dates I am to be defined, but soon I will adjourn you.

the stage of the Ariston because if it deserves indeed it.

It tells of a love that can
overcome anything, a hopeless love. The greatest romance and want this love to

In rap I'm not crazy on rapper’s
flow, but in the context of this song interlude( is generally understood as a
composition placed between other entities musical or dramatic, such as the acts
of a comedy ) makes it more harmonious and more engaging.
A very upbeat song, who
knows how to pull the crowds and makes me want to dance, as was also Boyfriend.
